Schreibheft

Initial situation: Client moved to Germany three years prior and was then on maternity leave from then on. During this time, she attended German language courses, got accustomed to life in Germany and realized that she'd like to start working again.

After many years as a project manager for well-known companies in Morocco, she missed her work and was ready to start her professional life in Germany. The time off from work and not being fully fluent in German didn't make things easy for her before the coaching.

Result: Client had a total of five interviews and two job offers.

During the coaching, the client became more confident in speaking German and brought her strengths to the forefront. The very first interview resulted in an offer, however, the location was too far away from her home.

Thanks to clear goals, promising methods and perseverance, she received a good offer and is looking forward to continuing her career in Germany.

"First of all, I would like to thank Tara for her precious help and continuous support.
Moving to Germany I had to leave behind my career and after almost three years as a stayed-home-mom, I finally decided to go back to work in a new country. The job search was very challenging and the application was competitive. A friend recommended that I seek help from Tara and that was exactly what I needed. Tara was by my side every step of the way. First, she helped me build my  Resume both in English and German nicely, then regain confidence regarding my skills and competence. Within a few weeks, I got
my first, second and then fifth interview. She would plan sessions so we could prepare for those interviews, call me afterward to see how it went and suggest different approaches depending on the positions. Now, I finally got a position that is in line with my personal and professional aspirations.
Thanks again Tara.

Initial situation: No job interviews for a year due to her insecurity about her German language skills (B2), ambiguity about career aspirations / focus in the IT sector.

Result: Three Interviews at two companies within a few weeks, a second round at one of the companies which was willing to pay a 5-figure sum in addition to her wage for further training within the company. Client was able to get clarity of her career aspirations and has started further training.

„I am happy about your coaching for my job search. I had positive feelings and motivation. The tips are very helpful what you have already given. You have already forwarded my CV and arranged job interviews at two companies, and I have good experience. You have helped me a lot not only in my working life but also in my personal life. Thank you very much.“

Tara Marie Bolour

I know from experience how hard unemployment or an economic crisis can affect people and families. Born in Heidelberg and raised in Canada from the age of 9, I finished my psychology degree  just in time for the aftermath of the economic crisis in 2008 and looked for (and found) my first “real” job. We all experienced bouts of hopelessness. In November 2016, I packed my bags and came back to Heidelberg. Because of my personal history with immigration, I know what it's like to face all the challenges that come with starting a new life in another country.

However, there were also many successes, which enabled me to identify promising methods for finding work. Today, after 10+ years experience as a coach and 5+ years in recruitment, I show my clients these methods, which helps them get more interviews, salary negotiations and work contracts.
